It’s no secret that I love travelling and one of my favourite parts is getting to discover and stay at some fabulous hotels. It had been a long winter and I was in need of a little spring getaway so I was thrilled to indulge in some relaxation with my mom in Montreal!
Surrounded by Old Montreal’s charm stands Le Saint Sulpice. When it comes to location this truly can’t be beat, it is in walking distance to all sites that Old Montreal has to offer and more.
We stayed in a beautiful executive suite which overlooked a quiet garden of Old Montreal.
The suite was beautifully decorated and offered everything we could possibly need… bed, TV, ample seating area, closets, a well equipped kitchenette , stocked bathroom which not only included a shower but a BATH. You guys know I’m a sucker for a bath.
It was rainy in Montreal for most of the week and I completely forgot to pack an umbrella! Luckily, the concierge had two for us and we were able to explore the wet but ever so charming streets of Old Montreal. Plus, the gloomy weather was a perfect excuse to stay a little bit more indoors and enjoy the beautiful suite. We threw on some fluffy robes and watched some TV while watching the rain fall from the balcony in the suite.
Just a few minutes walk from the hotel, you can find one of my favourite places in Montreal to grab a healthy lunch, Mandy’s Salad bar. A trip to Montreal is never complete without stopping here for me so we grabbed lunch there.
Our room was very spacious and the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I slept on !
The room also had a nice little vanity area where you can apply makeup in the morning- I loved this little nook that you don’t find in too many hotels.
Old Montreal has lots of cobblestone streets so I highly recommend you pack some comfy sneakers to walk around. Packing tip: take something for comfort; take something for fun! Montreal is famous for its vibrant night life so save the heels for then.
Let’s talk about bathroom goals! The bathroom was definitely my favourite room in our suite. I’m a sucker for marble bathrooms and this one is one for the Pinterest boards.
The next morning we had to check out of our beautiful suite but not before indulging in a hearty breakfast at Sinclair Restaurant. The restaurant is nestled in the garden of the hotel and the space is so bright, sleek and luxurious. The customer service was top notch and so was the food! Highly recommend this spot for breakfast if you stay at the hotel ! I can’t wait to go back in warmer climes so I can sit outside on the patio.
Overall, we had an amazing stay at Hotel Saint Sulpice and can’t wait to stay here again on a future trip to Montreal during the summer months.
Thank you to the hotel for generously hosting us. All opinions are my own.
